I am professionally trained in Ballet, musical, contemporary dance,Laban, folk, improvisation, and am actively involved in Butoh dance and cross arts projects.
I am a qualified dance teacher, dancer, choreographer, performer, researcher, dance movement psychotherapist (MA),
My experience as dance teacher encompasses many years of working with people from 4 to 80 years old. In schools, kindergardens, colleges, hospital, dance schools, theatre.
I perform in different locations, like churches, museums, community spaces etc.
Koinzi - Dance in Germany: dance/ architecture (site specific)/ art/ music company,
Crisis Oxford as dance tutor, work with homeless people (2015-16)
Ark-T centre as one lead artist for Children’s holiday camps (2017)
My passion is for inclusive multi-cultural community projects/ events as singer and dancer and teacher; poetry and dance, cross arts collaboration. I believe that shared dance, music, poetry and art can bring people of all different backgrounds together and that it can give a platform for having a voice heard (see also confluence collective link).
With my performances I invite the audience to focus on relevant issues, and to be aware of our perception of ourselves and the world around us.
I work together with local and international dancers, dance groups and musicians.
